| My original company, Sarnia Piping Specialties Limited, was the second occupant of the park. We occupied a purpose-built facility erected by the band from January 1978 through January 1993. Our company has offices rented in Burlington Ontario, Montreal Quebec, and Edmonton Alberta, and the dealings with the Chippewa Industrial Development Park are much easier and simpler than any of our other landlords. SPS moved out in 1993 into our own building and in retrospect should have stayed at the Chippewa facility. When starting our newest venture, SPS FibreForm, we looked at many facilities in the Sarnia area for price, expansion and security. The Chippewa approach won hands down. As well as a service fee and price advantage we ended up with space to expand, a landlord willing to invest in our expansion and an exposure second to none because of where the park is located. SPS has also worked with the band to develop a specifically trained work force. I would highly recommend to anyone, a relationship with the Chippewa Industrial Development.
